We all say it, if we don’t then we think it: “I wish I could go back in time”..
“I wish I could go back in time and predict Liverpool coming back from 3-0 down against AC Milan in the second half of the Champions League final in Istanbul to win on penalties”..
“I wish I could go back in time and send Mark Zuckerberg an email in early 2004 offering to give him £10,000 for just 5% of whatever company he was thinking of starting”..
I wish I could go back in time and have invented the Dyson hoover”..
All of these wishes I have either thought or said at some point in my life at least once. But non of those wishes compare in regularity or passion as much as I wish I could go back in time to see my Father again.
Even though I knew my Dad was dying and I did everything I could to make the most of the time I spent with him whilst he was alive I still find myself wishing I could spend time with him again.
I’d say to anyone if you’re reading this take it on board and make the most of your time with all of your loved ones. Take it from me the extra effort will go a long way in healing any loss you might suffer.
Stay Safe
