The time has come to drop your web page. There was once a time where I’d have preached that all businesses should have a web page. Not any more. Today all businesses should have a blog instead of a web page. Before I lose your attention a todays blog is much more than just the ramblings of the author. A blog of today can feature EVERYTHING your web page has and more.

The above example is just a preview of what that blog template looks like. I’m am sure you could imagine how it would look featuring your products or services instead of the demonstration examples. That example would cost you a grand total of $35 and it’s yours to do what you like with.
Still it gets better you see the pages along the top where it says ‘HOME ABOUT ‘SERVICES’ etc those pages are fully customisable by you! not the web design company you have to reach out to every time you want an update made. You won’t need any more ability than basic internet skills and word processing skills that you probably already use day in day out to compose emails and letters.
I speak to businesses all the time who have web pages that talk about who they are and what they do. These pages are often out of date because the person responsible has left the company, it’s an outsourced job to a web design company that costs, or the person responsible doesn’t know how to update it, or has forgotten how to. With a blog like WordPress you can administrate your page with ease whilst at the same time updating your customers daily on the new goings on and services you provide. All of which is brilliant content towards improving your search ranking on search engines.
A blog will open you up to a whole world of plug ins which take minutes to install that would normally cost £100′s for your web design company to add to your web site. Plug ins that allow you to connect your blog to social media and invite people to comment on your web page are as easy as a b c.
